This is not a good idea on AFS, since these processes will not be able to touch the user's home directory anymore, so lock files stay in place etc... This RPM modifies the session launched via gdm to remove old lock files before starting (when most likely we have credentials) and after shutting down (when we may not have credentials), and stops a number of services launched on the user's behalf. For AFS users, it also tells GNOME to create future lock files in a local temporary directory. This no longer prevents multiple instances of GNOME from running in parallel (and so in theory risks gconf corruption), but prevents AFS corruptions.BVnoswad.fnal.gov Scientific LinuxGPLJan Iven SLlinuxnoarchif [ -e /usr/bin/gnome-session -a ! -e /usr/bin/gnome-session.bin ]; then mv /usr/bin/gnome-session /usr/bin/gnome-session.bin ln -s gnome-session.with-afs /usr/bin/gnome-session fiif [ "$1" = "0" ] ; then if [ -L /usr/bin/gnome-session -a -e /usr/bin/gnome-session.bin ]; then rm /usr/bin/gnome-session mv /usr/bin/gnome-session.bin /usr/bin/gnome-session fi fi /BVBVBV53f8dc4261dc92037c8bddf89ddac7be6420e016856f96ce3a284b6b74770d2dd9d805585b7ff27ff4df6f1f4e35b2b3rootrootrootrootrootrootSL_startgnome_afs-1.1-1.src.rpmSL_startgnome_afs@@@JJ/bin/bash/bin/mv/bin/rm/bin/sh/bin/sh/bin/sh/usr/bin/gnome-sessionrpmlib(CompressedFileNames)rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix)3.0.4-14.0-14.2.3if [ -f /usr/bin/gnome-session -a ! -L /usr/bin/gnome-session ]; then if [ -e /usr/bin/gnome-session.bin ]; then rm /usr/bin/gnome-session.bin fi if [ -e /usr/bin/gnome-session-on-afs ]; then mv /usr/bin/gnome-session /usr/bin/gnome-session.bin ln -s gnome-session.with-afs /usr/bin/gnome-session fi fiswitchdeskB5@Jan Iven Jan Iven - move local lock setting into /etc/profile.d so that mixed KDE/GNOME sessions use it as well- initial version/bin/sh/bin/sh/bin/shnoswad.fnal.gov 11196392221.1-1gnome-afs-profile.cshgnome-afs-profile.shgnome-session.with-afs/etc/profile.d//usr/bin/-O2 -g -pipe -march=i386 -mcpu=i686cpiogzip9noarchnoarch-redhat-linux-gnuASCII textPaul Falstad's zsh script text executabledirectoryRSB18tA?WmOH+UpUB8$NjY {]' 7kR?g=<=={s/`ğ>=zmg]7ǥVin*DR5kL6<'*\qTi;<ƹ5&ZL޺uJ)iv̋Ҫ€Ja6#7-ix!,^`*΅HU,'] Td$RT#FXh0v6\o^>_(fLZk,ӶN+>v ;J%H`!ױ%z뵿TJ- 5Von7 ](ɤ%c/W#-ly2x:P,ζL(t>;8+cM!WNXK] u3.Z!pN>]I.w"q(109w+XCI⢨$ LU~8a!5GBqK_LU^;&C[iT ;(E(!8lfK#wG}\apחV<owo]'00AQöFOLx{Xרt_5N766ߕj
